WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Recently, fashion has been tending to favor the active minded girl. We’ve seen everything from Chanel skateboards to Rihanna’s new Puma sneaker line on the runway. Sportswear is still making its comeback for 2016 and athletic chic is the perfect trend for the girl on the go. With spring break right around the corner, we’re all well aware that getting ready for class can be a drag, but it really shouldn’t be.

Comfort is key. When you’re comfortable, nothing else really matters. Whether it’s jumping out of bed for an 8:00 a.m. class (bless you) or hopping from class to class as an all day event (I’m actually not sure which is worse), this Fashionista has combined comfort with fitness-fashion. She has shown us how to look effortlessly stylish.

While keeping her look in a monochrome fashion, she started her outfit with black Nike swoosh leggings. If there’s one streak that made its mark last year, it is the all white sneaker. The greatest part of about the sneaker trend is that none of the styles are new, most of them are just regenerated. While adidas made a major comeback with their white Stan Smiths, Nike also hopped on that train. This Fashionista went on to pair her leggings with her white Nike Air Max 90 sneakers. These are really wearable with anything from casual sweats to a dress. What’s not to love about a classic pair of sneakers that go with everything?

We adore the leather jacket since it is still the staple item of winter and spring. She wears that over her “killin’ it” tunic to layer for 60-degree weather. Another trend we’re hoping is here to stay is the baseball hat. You will officially never have to worry about a bad hair day ever again. Move over beanies, this one has really taken over as a must-have. She also added her Phase 3 gray hat to her look and finished the outfit with a simple black backpack. This Fashionista is a natural when it comes to mixing chic with athletic.

One Simple Change: Done with class and want to go directly to the gym? Throw your workout T-shirt into that backpack and when it’s time to change, swap it out with the “killin’ it” tunic and leather jacket.
