It is March and London is finally starting to experience some “warmer” weather. Of course, warmer weather here just means that the sun has been out for more than a few hours. And when the sun comes out, so does its inhabitants.
While, the months are getting warmer, it is okay to dress lighter but you do not ever want to be caught without a coat because once the sun goes down, thermostats go back down to winter temperatures. I have found that having a good leather jacket is an important staple in a London wardrobe. It is a great piece that can go easily from day to night.
Like most London natives, this Fashionista had a full street ready ensemble paired with her own favorite, leather jacket. She is rocking the minimalist look, wearing all-black from head to toe with a few trendy accessories. She is wearing a simple pair of high-waisted black jeans with destructed elements at the knees. I have noticed that ripped jeans seem to be a very popular trend amongst many Fashionistas roaming the London streets. To pair with her jeans, she is wearing a black crop top under her leather jacket with a statement, choker necklace. On her feet, she is wearing a pair of black suede booties to finish off this simple and chic ensemble. Personally, I am a big fan of the all-black everything look, especially when I have some fashionable accessories I want to show off, so I wanted to capture this Fashionista’s style to demonstrate how well this look works in the city.
This outfit is great for exploring the city on a sunny, winter day and can be transitioned to a nighttime ensemble perfect for getting dinner with friends.
