Someone’s got their party pants on! I have never had the chance to wear these pants, but I decided to bring them out since it was a warm day. The one great thing about changing seasons is being able to switch out your clothes and see which garments are going to carry over to the next season. I absolutely love these bell bottom chiffon pants because they are so comfortable and can be worn in the spring, as well as summer. Comfort comes first when I pick out my clothes. Pain might come along with beauty, but definitely not fashion! I love the sheer chiffon fabric of these pants; they are so breathable and being able to see the shorts underneath is a unique touch.
Since the weather wasn’t as warm as it could have been, I added warmth to my look by wearing my black turtleneck with these floral pants. This look was influenced by Emilio Pucci’s fall/winter 2015-2016 show. I love how he paired simple turtlenecks with a bold bottom. This really makes a statement and can really give your outfit a bold look.
What’s better than black on black? Black is a blank slate, allowing you to do whatever you please. For accent pieces, I decided to carry a tan bag with tan chunky heel sandals. I also wore a simple Pacific Opal gem bar bracelet that I found at BCBG. I absolutely love everything about BCBG; their clothing inspires me everyday. BCBG is so edgy, yet girly at the same time. The brand gives girls like me the happy medium we have always been looking for.
To finish up the look and to break up the black on black these shoes do the job perfectly, they even add to the ’70s vibe the pants give off. The ’70s trends have been in style for awhile now, and I hope they aren’t leaving anytime soon.
