Bright colors with black accents and bold patterns…this equals the perfect fashion combination. You can never go wrong with this combination, especially since summer is right around the corner. But here in Savannah, Georgia, summer is already here, and I’m soaking up the sun.
I took my inspiration from Dimitri’s Berlin spring 2016 collection. I combined the chic, bohemian styles in my look that Dimitri uses throughout his collection. He used bright, colorful patterns and mixed them with black to make the look a little more edgy. I didn’t follow the same color palette as he did, but I did have a colorful, edgy and bohemian feel to my look, much like his collection.
These shorts are the perfect bohemian piece. If you don’t think you can pull off the bohemian gypsy dress, opt for shorts. They’re perfect for warm spring days and not too mention super comfy! The shorts add the colorful element I was going for. As for the edgy element, I went for this cropped, lace-up top. These tops are amazing and can edge up any outfit. The best thing about these tops is that they go with anything and everything you have in your closet. You can dress it up or down; in this case I chose to dress it down. I paired my look with strappy sandals, which add the final touch to my bohemian look. To accessorize this look, I added Shaska Co. bracelets and a kate spade watch to add even more color to the look. These are classic pieces every girl should have in her wardrobe, but pair them together and they create an awesome look!
