How does the saying go again? April showers bring May flowers? Well, not here at Penn State! This March has been a rainy one and that means rain boots are the footwear of choice around campus. Since this has been the case, I have noticed one particular pair of rain boots that get a lot of attention, Hunter Boots.
These boots are so on-trend right now; they are waterproof to keep your feet dry in the rainy weather and they also come in an array of colors. There is always the classic choice of black, but I’ve spotted them around campus in blue, green, orange and even pink! Along with the choice in colors, these rain boots also come in a variety of styles. They can be tall or short, and feature different buckles, embellishments, and style details. Although the trend is mostly worn by women, Hunter boots also have some styles for men. Because of all of these factors, it’s easy to find a pair of Hunter Boots that are right for your style!
Often when people are trying to style rain boots they feel limited, as if they can only wear a super casual outfit. For example, sweatpants and a T-shirt, but that’s just not true. As these boots are trendy, it’s easy to pair them with a cute and fashionable outfit. Instead of just being a boot you have to wear to avoid wet feet, they can become a fashionable addition to enhance your outfit.

She pairs them with some medium wash and slightly ripped jeans, a baby blue waffle knit J.Crew sweater with a contrasting texture on the sleeves and a black jacket with a stand collar that ties at the front.
