When it transitions from winter to spring sometimes its hard to find the right “look” for this awkward time of the year. While we worry about different factors such as, “jeans or jean shorts? Shorts or tank top? Should this outfit wait for summer? What does a girl wear in the spring who only has neutrals in her closet?!” It’s important to keep in mind that what makeup you put on plays a huge role in the “look” you are going for.
This Fashionista shares her secrets with us. She says, “when in doubt, natural it out,” and I couldn’t agree more! She decided to go for a very natural look with minimal eye makeup, a rosy cheek and a rose pink lipstick. This makeup completes her between seasons look with her ripped boyfriend jeans, a lace white blouse and some sling-back wedge booties. The pop of the pink lipstick adds some color to her neutral outfit, without having to wear any crazy colors (because if you’re like me, 90 percent of your closet is black and white). Props to this Fashionista for finding her way around this awkward change in season. Will you follow in her footsteps?
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: Copying this look is simple. All you need is some lip stain, matte or stick, and a heavy blush with a light face and eye makeup. This will save you the hassle of trying to find color in all the wrong places, and set you apart this spring and summer if colorful clothes are just totally not for you.
