Although the sun has been shining, it is still unexpectedly cold here in Connecticut. The constant wind is making the walks to class harder and harder, forcing us students to fantasize about the upcoming warm weather.
This Fashionista caught my attention with her ability to remain warm and look cute doing it. If you haven’t been living under a rock you would at least know something about Kanye West’s new fashion line “Yeezy” and its focus on neutral colors. The ability to incorporate different neutral colors into one outfit isn’t always easy but this Fashionista mastered it.
I like how this Fashionista slowly progressed in neutral shades. Her cream knit sweater started off the look giving her a comfortable and relaxed vibe. The lace at the bottom was layered over a tight white shirt, which enhanced the lace detailing. For the pants this Fashionista chose to go with a khaki green pair of skinny jeans. My favorite part was how well the cream sweater and khaki jeans complemented each other.
To remain warm she chose to wear high black boots that allowed her black Marc Jacobs bag and sweater to correlate with the rest of the outfit. Black is always a safe color to pair with neutrals, and this Fashionista demonstrates that perfectly! Lastly, she chose to wear Ray-Ban aviators to tie her outfit together.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Even though it’s spring, it’s still freezing as of right now! I don’t want to go into pastels or bright colors too quickly so I chose to stick with neutrals, which I personally think are acceptable year-round.”
