The grass is greener, the air is warmer, and windows-down driving days are upon us. Spring has officially sprung and it’s time to put your winter coat in hibernation and bring out those rad prints! Yes, that means, to Miranda Preistly’s dismay, floral prints are everywhere! An avid floral wearer myself, I thrive in this season because I function this print as a neutral. It’s very rare to see me in the springtime not wearing a floral print. That’s why when I saw this Fashionista walking to the library in her chiffon printed kimono soaking up the sun, I saw hearts. Then, I saw her heart sunglasses.
Taking advantage of the great weather, this Fashionista paired a quirky crop top with her light kimono. She is also wearing one of spring’s trendiest pieces, boyfriend jeans. They are loose, comfy and distressed; a perfect denim for spring. Things just seem lighter in the spring, and that’s why a small cross-body is a perfect bag to carry.
This Fashionista decided to be bold and do some mix printing with her bag and kimono. It’s easy to mix prints, just stay in the same color palette. The primary color of both of these items are black, so it works amazingly! Playing with whimsical accessories is always fun. This Fashionista plays up her fun side with her heart sunglasses, stone necklace and chunky bangles. Even though she has a lot of elements going on, it all comes together into a casual-chic look.
One Simple Change: Throw on some cut high-waisted shorts to turn the heat up and take this look into the summer.
