Summer is finally here! School is either over or nearing its end, and it is time to relax and hang out with friends and family. When you do decide to go out and have some fun, it is essential to find an outfit that is bright, casual and shows a little skin! Just because the school year is over, doesn’t mean you have to slack on style!
The perfect summer outfit is all about simple and comfortable silhouettes mixed with bright colors and patterns. This Fashionista followed this equation perfectly by pairing an aqua, teal and striped strapless top with a white denim skirt. The visual interest in this ensemble comes from the details. The top has a ruffle at the top to draw attention to the strapless neckline. The denim skirt is white to keep the outfit from looking too heavy and features buttons down the front as an additional design element. She finished the outfit off with simple brown booties that make this outfit perfect for an outdoor summer concert.
In terms of accessories and beauty, she kept the look fairly simple. She added a simple chain necklace with a gold pendant to accentuate her strapless top and bring out her tan. Her hair is a natural looking straight, because who really styles their hair in the summer? Definitely not me. Strapless tops in the summer are a must because they’re cute and comfortable and give me an excuse to show off my tan!”
