Hello! My name is Claudia Meyer-Samargia, and I am so happy to be returning as a Style Guru this summer after a great first semester with CollegeFashionista. I just finished my freshman year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and have returned to the Twin Cities for the summer. I will miss campus and my friends from school, but I am very excited that I will be very busy this summer. Between spending time with my family and friends and pursuing a PR internship, job (hopefully!), an online class and of course being a Style Guru, I will have my hands full.
When it comes to my style, I live by: “I like what I like, and I don’t like what I don’t like.” I don’t feel pressure to stay true to one certain style or aesthetic. I love wearing an all-black ensemble one day and a bohemian outfit the next. If I find a piece that I love, I will find a way to work it in with what I already own. In addition, in the past few months, my hair has continued to get blonder and shorter, which has definitely led to me experimenting with some new looks. In this specific outfit, I paired a ribbed, off-the-shoulder top with a form-fitting denim skirt. In addition, I accessorized with a black, wrap necklace and velvet platforms.
I am so excited to have this summer to share my favorite warm weather looks that I come up with and of other Fashionistas. I have loved writing for CollegeFashionista thus far and am so grateful for all of the opportunities that I have been given so far as a Style Guru.
