Hey there, Fashionistas! My name is Annelise Park and I am a junior at the University of South Carolina. I am a Sport and Entertainment Management major and Retailing minor, so I am fortunate to be able to apply my passion for fashion in my academic life. I live about a half hour outside Washington, D.C., so one walk down the city’s streets will expose you to fashion trends of all sorts. With that being said, I am beyond excited to start my journey as a Style Guru for this summer semester.
Shopping has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I would describe my personal style as sporty and sophisticated with a hint of boho-chic. I have a reserved personality, but those who know me well will tell you that I am quite sassy. I like to say that my style matches my personality. I love a neutral look, but a pop of color is always a good choice to spice up any outfit.
Another one of my hobbies is studying up on celebrity gossip. E! News is my guilty pleasure and I can assure you that I have never missed an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I definitely like to stay updated on the newest fashion trends. At the moment, I am obsessing over off the shoulder tops. This two piece set is a perfect example of this and a great summer outfit. The flowy top lays well on any body type and the matching shorts bring the outfit together as one easy and simple look. I like keeping my jewelry and shoes simple, especially with a bold outfit. Overall, I believe the way you dress speaks volumes. You feel your best when you look your best!
