Hello again trendy pals! I am so very excited to be returning as a Style Guru and Social Media Intern this semester. I’m attending Bloomsburg University as a junior majoring in marketing/management. On the side, you’ll find me overexposing my life on Instagram, binge watching the Kardashians or blasting Drake as I sink my head in a good magazine. I’m a lighthearted, creative soul known for my compulsive shopping addictions and bad (yet arguably funny) jokes.
Fashion is an ongoing inspiration and drive in my world. I’m all about the beautiful artistic side that goes into our everyday style aesthetics. Style is a form of expression, and I am such a perceptive person when it comes to decoding a person’s vibe from what they’re wearing. I find experimenting with fashion so intriguing; you truly have the power to be anyone you want to be. Because fashion is constantly evolving, we mature alongside our fashion trends, making it one of our longest, most loyal relationships yet.
My personal style relies on the basics. As much as I love a good trendy piece, after the fad is over there’s no turning back. The classics are classics for a reason, and versatility and comfort are two of my best friends. You can always count on me to have a good pair of high-waisted jeans and a plain, flowy shirt, so turning to accessories to add a little flare to my look is always necessary. My shoe collection, in fact, is one of the main contributors to my sad college bank account. Sneakers, sandals, boots or heels, I really don’t care. Good shoes take you good places.
Writing for CollegeFashionista has only heightened my love for this industry. This internship has exposed me to new aspects and has motivated me more than ever to make a name for myself. So keep in touch—talking fashion with you all semester will be my pleasure!
