Hello, everyone! My name is Cristina Espinosa. I’m a rising junior at Monmouth University studying communications with a concentration in public relations and journalism and a minor in Spanish. My favorite places to be, especially in the summer, are the beach, New York City and at a concert. I have always been a huge fan of music; from classical to pop to R&B, I love it all. Needless to say, all of my money goes towards buying clothes and concert tickets.
For as long as I can remember I have always been interested in fashion. From kindergarten all through high school and now in college at Monmouth University, fashion has played a big role in showing my personality. I always try to make sure that what I wear shows who I am and makes me feel good. I live by the saying, “look good, feel good.”
My style is a bit difficult to categorize because it is always evolving. I love to try out the latest fashion trends by incorporating them with classic and staple pieces. On the average day, you can catch me wearing jeans, a simple shirt and either my favorite boots or sneakers. But, I also have my days where I dress up a little more! I love pairing simple outfits with awesome accessories. I love sunglasses, necklaces and of course, cute purses!
In this look I am wearing one of my favorite pair of jeans, a striped lace-up top, some white sneakers and my favorite kate spade purse. I love outfits like this because they are causal yet still manage to look put together.
Simple shirts that have little touches of different trends make the piece stand out. Jeans are part of my outfit almost everyday because they can be dressed up or dressed down. However, in the summer I swap my regular jeans out for jean shorts. I am in love with white sneakers, they have become a staple in my wardrobe because of their versatility. I feel like they can be paired with everything from dresses to jeans! On my wrist I paired a silver bangle from Fossil with my Jawbone UP2 fitness tracker. My tracker has become one of my favorite purchases because it tracks my activity and it looks like a regular bracelet.
