You know what needs to stop? Oversized college T-shirts with shorts or pajama bottoms. If you don’t wear this to class every day, we’re going to become the best of friends.
My name is Nakia Moore. I’m just shy of being 21 years old and finally heading into my senior year at the University of Alabama (not my last year however, but who’s counting?) I’m also a business major; aspiring to start my own business when I graduate and, of course, make my parents proud. I have an obsession with music from the ’90s, I love traveling and most of my income is spent on coffee (no, really.)
I’m so pumped to not only be returning as a third semester Style Guru, but to also be joining the CollegeFashionista team as an editorial intern. I guess being a grammar police has its perks! I can’t wait to report on the amazing fashion scene here at the University of Alabama and back in my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Fashion on this campus is just so very under-appreciated, but I’m hoping I can change that.
My favorite trends for this summer has to be the maxi dress. Being that maxi dresses are already a staple for me, I’d most likely pair them with a light denim button-down, sunglasses a colorful scarf and laced-up ballet flats. This is the perfect “lazy day” outfit in my opinion.
I love my classics, so if you need any help dressing for a night of fine dining, an interview, a date or any other special occasion, I’m your girl!
