Hey guys! I am so excited to be a Style Guru this summer and share with all my fashion-lovers! I go to Chapman University, basically everyday is a runway and the fashions are chic, modern, hipster, you name it. That is why I wanted to be a part of this team! I am so inspired by the day to day fashion around me, so why not share with the world!
Like all teenage girls, I have big aspirations about wanting to work in the fashion industry, who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by the latest kate spade handbags or Chanel dresses?
I had the opportunity of growing up in Vermont, one of the most beautiful places in the United States (well, when it’s not 20 degrees below zero) and experiencing everything it has to offer. I love to go hiking, boating, taking walks with my dog and having bonfires on the beach.
Though Vermont is not known for its fashion, I got inspired by fashion when I went to visit my aunt who lives in Manhattan. I remember walking by the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue and in awe of the bedazzled mannequins and fur covered women walking the street.
As well as hoping to work in the fashion industry, I am also an aspiring dancer. I have been dancing since I was four years old in the styles of hip-hop, modern, contemporary, tap and ballet. I have been fortunate enough to travel to cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York City to pursue my passion.
I cannot wait to spend the summer digging out hot new fashion trends and sharing them with you! Here’s to an amazing summer!
