Another exciting summer is finally here after a full year of school! I go to St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin and will be a junior next fall. Wow! I don’t know where the time has gone! Just yesterday I was scared as ever entering as a freshman. I laughed when people would tell me that, “College goes by so fast, enjoy every minute of it” but it truly goes within a blink of an eye.
At St. Norbert I am studying Communication with a Media concentration. I am involved in many clubs on campus and a proud member of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. My friends say I am really cheerful and energetic. I always like to have a good time and explore new things or places. During the summertime I like to walk to my hometown’s beach, which is only a mile away. I also like to go to concerts or simply enjoy a fresh cup of tea with friends or family at my local coffee shop.
My family is really important to me. They have shaped me into the person I am today and I don’t know where I would be without them to be honest. It sounds cheesy to say but it is true. Something unique about me is I am a twin. People say we look nothing alike because she has brown curly hair while I have red hair, which is strange. We are very different from each other but I am so lucky to call her my best friend.
When I am not in school, I enjoy singing, acting and thumbing through multiple fashion magazines. I look forward to reading the latest trends and what is going to be in the stores next. I have anyways been into fashion since I was a very little girl. It’s who I am as a person. After I graduate from college I hope to be working in the fashion industry and doing what I love every day of my life. This outfit that I am wearing today expresses my style and what I like to wear, especially during the summertime.
This striped sleeveless shirt is one of my favorites pieces to wear during this season. It’s simple, yet trendy. You can never go wrong with this shirt because it goes with almost everything. I’m also wearing just a simple pair of navy shorts to match with the stripes on the shirt. They are really comfortable to wear as well. My tan sandals and my hat are two finds that are a must to have in your closet for the summer. The sandals will be necessary for all the walking on the beach you will do and the hat will keep you from getting sunburnt.
