This gorgeous Fashionista chose to spend her summer in the legendary Iowa City. Likewise, I’m in the City of Literature all summer long. For this Fashionista, she has a full load of summer classes and a part-time job at a local city boutique. But she doesn’t let her busy schedule stop her from flaunting her style!
The versatility of this outfit shows it works from a daytime lecture to some fun nightlife. The neutral colors paired with the army green tank make the color palette work perfectly for grabbing drinks with friends at night, yet the fun pattern and button symmetry of the mini mini skirt makes it breezy and fun for daytime.
Another aspect I love is her simplistic jewelry. In my opinion, a little goes a long way when it comes to accessories, so I love the staple pieces this Fashionista chose. I especially love her dainty Brandy Melville necklace, because it’s delicate yet long enough to make a statement.
During the summer, a Fashionista can’t go wrong with a pair of black strappy sandals. They go with anything, and wearing a pair with a little bit of heel makes them more comfortable to strut around in all day.
Also, does anyone truly enjoy wearing bras? I didn’t think so. Bralettes offer a comfy way of covering up, while adding a pop of color to your top. This Fashionista is wearing a white aerie bralette that adds a flirtatious flair and it looks beautiful under her long beautiful hair.
