The summer heat has been pretty intense so far. The heat makes it really tempting to throw on clothing that is the most breathable. Some of those clothing pieces may not be the most attractive looking. I decided that I needed some inspiration for these summer months.
I took inspiration from the Chloé spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection. This collection had a very bohemian feel which made it easy to translate for my summer look. The great thing about bohemian style is everything should fit loose and flowy, which is why this is great for the summer heat. Loose clothing will make you feel comfortable and cool for the heat.
In this collection, there was a lot of tops that showed shoulders, so I translated this into my style with a high-neck tank top. The Chloé collection featured a lot of white but I like to add a pop of color. For my pop of color, I thought this dark orange tank top had the perfect boho vibe. To translate this look into my style, I paired this loose high-neck tank top with a boho print on it with high-waisted shorts. You could tuck in your loose shirt into high-waisted shorts, or just let it hang loose like I chose to do. When I was looking at photos from the collection, I noticed the shoes were strappy sandals. For this to work with my style, I paired my black gladiator sandals for this boho-inspired look. I added a few brassy pieces of jewelry for a full boho feel. I love that this boho look can be achieved in so many ways by putting your own style to it!
