Something about ruffles just makes me happy. The frill of the fabric just puts me in a good mood, is that weird? So you can imagine my excitement when I found my new favorite collection. Ruffles and florals and lace, oh my! Its everything I love rolled into one.
While on my search for the newest trends I fell in love with the Zimmermann 2017 resort collection, it’s safe to say it was love at first sight. I could see myself wearing every single piece from this collection, it’s as if I designed it myself. The Zimmermann collection is full of ruffles and lace and pure beauty with reoccurring colors like dusty rose, pale blues and countless shades of cream. This collection is every girls fantasy, even Beyoncé rocked a Zimmermann dress in her “Formation” video (YAS). The simplicity of each design is what caught my attention. The ruffles and florals could make anyone feel gorgeous.
In my look I wanted to incorporate the same ruffled look, so I went on a search for the perfect frill. The main aspect of my look is my dress, (it’s actually a tunic, but who’s going to stop me). I fell in love with the tiered ruffles and the navy blue color. Because this dress is more casual I paired it with some brown heels. To accessorize I wore my absolute favorite sunglasses. As many of you may know I am a jewelry fanatic so I had to add some rings, a watch and some earrings. I am a firm believer that a look is never complete without some jewelry. With my look I felt like I could be apart of the Zimmermann collection myself.
