Hi Fashionistas!
Fall 2016 has officially arrived and I couldn’t be more excited to start my third semester as a Style Guru! Since beginning, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with amazing brands such as Palmers, Clinique, Garnier and Victoria’s Secret PINK; each one making me more excited than the next. Being a Style Guru has allowed me to collaborate and engage with Fashionistas from across the globe and has inspired me to go after a career in the luxury fashion industry.
This semester I’ll be a Junior at VCU and after two years of living in Richmond I finally feel fully acquainted with its unique energy and atmosphere. Considering VCU is the largest public arts school in the country, many students choose fashion as an outlet for expression. That being said, one of my favorite things about this city is getting to see the eclectic fashion that students fearlessly sport around.
My style may not be as bold or creative as some of the things I’ve seen, but I like it all in the same. For this look, I chose my go-to solid white top and paired it with a light wash pair of high-waisted denim shorts to keep the outfit fun and casual. Then, I spiced up the simple look with a handmade denim choker and my go-to footwear. Block heel sandals like these are my favorite because they can dress up anything with the clasp of a buckle.
I can’t wait for you all to explore the city with me!
