Hello, fellow Fashionistas! My name is Victoria Santoro, and I am currently a sophomore at the College of Dupage. This is my first time interning with CollegeFashionista, and I am beyond excited for all of the wonderful people I will interact with and the many opportunities that will be opened. I’ve always had a love for creative writing but never knew what direction to take, and then one day I stumbled across a Teen Vogue article explaining the world of the fashion journalism, and I instantly fell in love!
To put my style simply is to say comfort is key, and I know how to make it chic. Being a full-time college student means i’m constantly on my feet, and the last thing I want is to be struggling to get cozy in class. Let’s be real, beauty does not have to be pain, and I’m here to prove it. Though I love to explore with different fashion trends, I always find a way to take the newest fad and give it my own personal flair. Another defining feature of my style is accessibility, and I know that designer is something that is not in my (or any college students’) budget. I strive to show that the best deals can also be the cutest.
What i’m wearing today really shows how I love to take trendy pieces and give them my own personal touch. This outfit is a cross between boho and preppy, with a comfortable open stitch kimono and a baby doll, flower print dress. This outfit can easily be dressed up with a pair of wedges and a couple more accessories but today I decided to go casual, pairing it with a pair of flat sandals and minimal jewelry.
I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to write for CollegeFashionista, and I know that this fall with be an amazing one!
