Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Kailey and I am about to start my sophomore year at Kent State University studying fashion merchandising. Still unsure of my minor but who actually knows what their doing with their life, right? Living in a small town with never much to do I slowly started to get into photography and already with a love for fashion, I was set. With that being said, I have some experience writing and taking photos for a blog of my own. When I came across CollegeFashionista, right away I knew it was something I wanted to pursue.
My mother is a financial planner, so basically she helps people save money for a living. To this day she has not been able to help me save a dime (sorry Mom). I have a sick obsession with all things clothing and shoes. I am very thankful I have supportive parents. I think it is so important to find things your passionate about. So, if the shoe fits, buy it, right?
I wouldn’t say I have a set style. I love comfort so if I have a choice between a bra and a bralette, the answer is always a bralette. Style is important, but putting yourself into one category just seems wrong to me. I love all types of clothing. I do find myself wearing a lot of neutral colors and denim but lately I’ve been adding pops of color into my everyday attire. When I’m not spending all of my money on clothes, I am either watching movies/YouTube videos or spending time with family or friends. I have a very strong love for animals (tigers and dogs in particular). When I graduate college, I see myself living in Chicago with a Labradoodle and enjoying my current unknown job in the fashion industry.
