Hi Fashionista/os! My name is Rachael Bush and I am very excited to be a part of the guru gang. I was born and raised in the bluegrass state and am a senior at Liberty University in Virginia. I am pursuing a degree in fashion merchandising and could not be more excited to see where it takes me. Fashion is what I love, so why not make it a career?
An interesting fact about me is that I am a twin. I know, it may not be that interesting to some, but this was my go-to answer growing up. I have a twin brother and we are polar opposites hence he wants to be a doctor and asks for daily style advice.
I remember from a young age my love for clothes and wanting my outfits to be perfect. My parents would make me pick my outfits out every night before I went to bed because I would try on so many outfits until it was exactly what I wanted. What I love about fashion is that it is a way to say who you are without saying a word. I have always been a little shy and fashion was a fun outlet to communicate for me without having to speak. Style is a beautiful way to express yourself and everyone is unique and different. I thoroughly like to play with my style and change it up.
My outfit in this post was styled around my pom-pom sandals I bought in Greece (which is the most beautiful place I have ever seen) this summer. I went with a simple white textured dress and added a green purse to finish off the look. This was the last summer day in my hometown in Kentucky, so I wanted to make it fun and colorful.
