Hey guys! My name is Victoria Schule and I am a junior communication major with a concentration in public relations at East Carolina University. I am super thrilled to be a CollegeFashionista Style Guru for the first time this semester!
To me, fashion is a form of self-expression. It allows someone to say who they are without actually saying it. Growing up in New York, I was always inspired by the chic and urban trends that surrounded me. I always looked up to those who dressed trendy, yet added their own personal style to their wardrobes. For as long as I can remember, I would always get creative with my day-to-day outfits and enjoyed challenging myself to new styles that expressed who I was.
If I were to describe my style, it would be very versatile. My style is always changing and evolving. Currently, I am in love with the ’90s fashion trend going on. Adding chokers to complete outfits or wearing high-waisted bottoms seem to be my favorite trends by far this year. I am inspired by celebrities like Rihanna and Vanessa Hudgens, who are both known to change their styles all the time, but are still expressing themselves effortlessly. Â I am also in love with minimalistic styles and the look of a clean aesthetic.Â
Some of my favorite stores right now are Forever 21, H&M, Charlotte Russe and Express! Usually I discover trends through the many fashion bloggers I follow on social media Vogue to catch up the latest fashions.
I hope to use my experience with CollegeFashionista this semester to write about fashion and share some of my favorite looks and styles with you guys! Cheers to a #RAD semester!
