Tackling the Trends—How To Wear Wide Legs, Cutlottes and Flares

When wide leg pants started to cycle back into fashion last fall, I have to say I was a bit apprehensive. Like many college students today, the extent of my experience with the flare style comes from the rampant popularity of the wide leg style throughout the ’00s (hello middle school flashbacks).

Like most trends that have had a resurgence, the wide leg has been renewed and refined for today’s shift towards minimal fashion. Cleaner lines, smaller details and more wearable styles are everywhere, from high end to fast fashion to thrifting. Style Gurus have been trying out this trend and making it work for their diverse styles and different day-to-day outfits!

Check out these looks and get some inspiration! With these pieces, you won’t be afraid to retire your skinny jeans for one day.
