In Southwest Virginia, you are exposed to many music festivals which is such a great opportunity to meet new people, see new bands and just have a pretty amazing experience.
This past weekend, I attended Reunion Festival held at Highland Farms in Dublin, Virginia. I have been to this festival twice now, and I have to say that this year was so much better than the last. Reunion Festival, previously named Gypsyfest, keeps getting better each year! There were so many new bands that I have not heard of and now I can’t stop listening to them.
Between artist/band sets, I caught up with some stylish gals and of course had to photograph their unique styles. This Fashionista is stylized as edgy with hints of color. I love how her look is simultaneously effortless and comfortable.
This Fashionista kept it very minimal by having a dark interior with a gray tank top and some basic black shorts. According to this Fashionista, she always incorporates black pieces into her outfits and she especially “had to wear dark colors” to the music festival. Her go-to accessories are her rings and layered bracelets, so of course she had to add it to her festival look this season. She is wearing one ring on each hand to give her look a symmetrical vibe. To keep her dark and edgy look going, she is sporting her favorite choker and comfy black boots so she can keep dancing all night long!
When it gets cooler at night, you can always add a light kimono or a cardigan and totally change up your look!
So, if you are feeling edgy and want to wear minimal but comfortable outfit to a music festival, go for it! I hope this Fashionista’s minimalistic style inspired you, if you ever attend either a concert or music festival!
