If there were one thing to add to your outfit to make it cooler, it would be coffee. In the fall, when I drink a warm latte, it takes me mentally to a colorful autumn landscape. Everyone knows pumpkin spice is currently dominating the fall coffee game. But in my book, there are plenty of honorable mentions for your fall coffee mix that don’t include pumpkins.

While I’m always excited for the return of pumpkin spice each fall, I know that there are many of us out there who’d like to try something new. So in the spirit of adventure, I checked out my town’s best artisan coffee joint, The Green Bean and was inspired by some of their menu. Check out my list of out-of-the-ordinary flavors to keep your eye out for around your neighborhood.

Cinnamocha—Add 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg to your mocha. Result: Warm cinnamon with a deep chocolate blend
Banana Nut Latte—Blend half a banana and a few pumps of hazelnut syrup in with your espresso. Top the steamed milk with some chopped nuts. Result: Comforting blend of banana and hazelnut
Blueberry Crumble Latte—Blend a handful of frozen blueberries, a few pumps of white mocha syrup and a dash of cinnamon. Result: Fresh-baked blueberry dessert in the form of a latte.
Spiced Butterscotch Latte—Add two pumps of butterscotch syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg to your latte. Result: A sweet and spicy fusion of brown sugar and buttery tastes.
Cookie Butter Chai—Add 1 tablespoon of cookie butter, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to your chai. Result: Creamy blend of your favorite sugary cookie and spice.
Nutty Shortbread—Two pumps of shortbread syrup and one pump of hazelnut syrup to your favorite drink. Result: Rich coffee blended with warm flavors of vanilla and shortbread and a hint of nutty walnut
Crème Brulee—One pump caramel sauce, one pump french vanilla syrup and raw sugar to garnish. Result: Rich custard flavor with a hint of caramel
Cinnamon Graham Cracker—Add 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg and 1/2 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk to your coffee and top with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbles. Result: Classic blend of sweet cinnamon with delicious buttery graham cracker.
Praline Pecan Macchiato—Add two pumps of pecan syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar to your drink. Result: Candy nuts made into a warm milky drink.
Apple Cinnamon Crumble—A few pumps of apple syrup, a pump of caramel syrup and a dash of cinnamon. Be sure to top with whipped cream and crumble topping. Result: Fresh apple flavoring paired with cinnamon and a hint of creamy caramel
