Both H&M and Zara have so many deal items that mimic expensive designer items. This military coat looks pricey, but it didn’t break the budget. The good thing about being Fashionistas/os is that we have thrifty skills on our side—local thrift markets can land you wonders as well.
These jeans are from Zara, as well as my jacket. This simple black turtleneck was inexpensive and has lasted me through both fancy dinners and grimy clubs. Choosing versatile and basic items is key. Because I mainly focus on black, navy and grey for my go-to colors, I can mix and match everything in my closet. An added pop of color on the lips adds a little dimension to a dark look.
