Hey, there everyone! My name is Linzey Chukes, and I am a sophomore at the Community College of Denver studying out journalism with a creative writing minor. I am so excited to share my personal style and opinions on fashion with all of you. Throughout the semester you can come to my page and expect to see a unique, fashion-forward style. One of the many ways I express myself is through my sense of style, so I am sharing a huge part of myself that I can’t wait for you to explore.
My style is versatile, to say the least. I really don’t like to get too comfortable with just one look or one trend. I love to explore new trends and get inspired by other people’s fashion and then make it my own. I am constantly tweaking, revising, and shifting things about my style. I can go from classy to edgy street style from one day to the next. I love exploring and trying different styles to see what fits me the best. I like to put my own spin on styles. I see fashion statements and then I make them my own.
I am currently into mainstream street style fashion. I am investing in a lot of suede clothing as you can see from my pictures. My black suede skirt, along with my knee-high boots. Then over my gray turtleneck sweater, I added an extra large denim jacket. I personally liked incorporating this jacket for a more street style vibe because it really made this look my own.
I am so excited to embark on this brand new, exhilarating and challenging, yet rewarding journey. I am truly grateful to call myself a Style Guru and I can’t wait to see where this journey will take me. I hope this experience will train and prep me for my future career in creative writing and hopefully do something with fashion and style in the near future.
