With this being my last article of the semester I figured I should highlight the wonderful lady who hides behind the lens for not only my CollegeFashionista articles but for my modeling portfolio and personal blog as well! Being a college student as active as this Fashionista, she still finds time to not only help me but also is the Treasurer of our photography council here at UAlbany. She is a phenomenal photographer who deserves much more recognition than she receives!
While this Fashionista is a busy college student, she is also a rad Fashionista on her own. In this look she has on a very comfy casual look that can also be worn out for dinner parties or a casual night out. The sleek tall over-the-knee boots add a little more sophistication matched with the long trench coat. Under the coat she has a long white cardigan and thin white textured turtleneck. Her skirt which is my personal favorite as a statement piece, has a retro colorful vibe to it that I love. The terribly cold New York winters allow for endless layer options. A matching trench with the perfect velvet skirt is the foolproof way to dress for the holidays. Wear a jewel tone set of accessories with this romantic white sweater for a festive outfit that will take you through the season. The modern girl wants to feel effortless and comfortable for a night out, not overly formal and antsy.
With another semester finally under our belts and the New Year approaching, we have a lot to be thankful for! I had an amazing time this fall working with CollegeFashionista.This brand has shown me the true extent of what it’s like to start your own fashion brand as a writer, photographer and social media savvy student. I am thankful and excited to be back next semester!
