Hello, hello! My name is Katherine Diaz Villegas. This spring is my first semester as a Style Guru at CollegeFashionista! I am very excited to be a part of this community of fashion lovers, and can’t wait to be inspired by trend setters all around me.
A little bit about me: I am originally from Medellin, Colombia but have lived here in the U.S. since I was little. I speak both English and Spanish, and I have studied French for a couple of years now. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I am addicted to coffee and, of course, love cats as I have two of my own.
Right now I am attending my dream school, Savannah College of Art and Design. I am a sophomore and a double major studying writing and fashion. When I am not busy working on all my assignments, I am normally hauling my camera around taking photographs or tucked in a little corner reading a good book.
In the pictures above I am wearing an outfit that you can typically find me in everyday. I love dressing in the fall and winter because I am obsessed with long, chunky coats. Normally, I’m wearing neutral and monochromatic tones as you can see in my outfit. Even though I do not consider myself a tomboy, I tend to stay away from dresses and skirts, so jeans are my go-to. The ankle boots I am wearing are my absolute favorite! You can never go wrong with some cute boots in cold weather! My favorite stores that I always shop at and highly recommend are H&M, Zara, and Topshop. And, of course, visits to local thrift stores always produce great finds!
