Hi fashion lovers, I’m Mavis and I am in my final year studying architecture at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. My study of architecture bestows me with an artistic eye which always discovers beauty in various matters.

I was born and raised in the ‘Spring City,’ Kunming, China. Now living in the gloomy and hilly Scotland has formed my ‘comfort-prior’ styling preference; various accessories and jewelry are the essential part of my style because they really can light up any basic outfit. Many of my style inspirations come from my favorite online content creators; Chriselle Lim, Jenn Im and Peony Lim. And I also seek for ideas from fancy movies, delicate architecture, and elegant art works. Traveling is a huge part of my life, I love to keep exploring the world and I will never stop.
For my outfit in this post, I chose to wear a long trench coat which prevents me from the cool Scottish wind, high neck white jumper, and light blue jeans to give the outfit a concise touch. The Adidas Superstar sneakers with inner heel is my all-time favorite footwear which are extremely comfortable as well. Clear glasses have become a big trend, especially aviator styled ones. I choose to keep the accessories in the gold theme because of the frame of my glasses, thus I have a rose gold bracelet, rings, and earrings, plus a black shoulder bag with gold chains to complete the entire outfit.
