I love New York! There are tons of high quality clothing stores, and a Fashionista is never hard to find in the big apple. Out of the many amazing outfits I saw in the city, this one in particular stood out to me. The makeup, outfit, and hair all fit perfectly together.
If you know me, you know I am a sucker for details. Details can elevate a simple outfit to a fashion forward, Style Guru-approved outfit. This Fashionista has such amazing attention to detail that I nearly cried tears of joy while in the middle of the photo shoot. Although very simple, the two small details make such a big impact in this outfit. The bright red lipstick creates such a fabulous contrast between the lips and the dark hair. I admire this Fashionista for being able to rock the red lips so well. The next detail, the sparkly red high tops, match the shirt and lipstick, and tie the look together perfectly.
The star of this outfit is obviously the top. The cropped, mock turtleneck, black and red striped shirt made my day. I was more excited to see that shirt than the Empire State Building. The dark red color of this shirt looks totally awesome with this Fashionista’s olive skin tone. Paired with mid-rise jeans, this shirt has a fun and flirty quality. It shows some skin, but is not too scandalous. À plus tard!
