Love it or hate it, winter is here. Regardless of whether you get snow where you live or not, sometimes the chill overcast and bitter winds can get you down. If you’re anyone like me, you probably feel a bit lazier choosing your outfit when winter hits. I’m sure we all know the struggle of finding clothes that’ll keep us warm and look chic at the same time. Despite all the struggles we face as Fashionistas, we soldier through and maintain our flawless shine all year round.
On my campus, so many Fashionistas/os kept effortlessly warm by rocking some of the hottest styles of the season. They showed us that winter is only a six-letter word that ends the year. So for those of you who have lost hope and feel the need to sacrifice either warmth or style this winter, take courage! Draw from this Fashionista’s outfit and you’ll find that countless ideas will start to flow to your head.
This Fashionista opted for a sleek look that highlighted her feminine silhouette. She wore a knit beret, light scarf, military jacket, and a pair of dark wash jeans. Clearly, she achieved a look of sophistication and class. To complete her look, she topped it off with detailed booties, gold hoop earrings, and a warm makeup look in berry tones. Despite her multiple accessories, she maintains a clean look that is nowhere near busy or distracting.
