Hi there, Fashionistas/os!
After a semester long break from blogging, I’m thrilled to say I’m back as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. What better time to start fresh than January, right? I’m sure we’re all just as excited to see what experiences, emotions, and trends the new year will bring. Let me say, I have a lot up my sleeve for 2017.
This semester I’ll be coming to you from Athens, Ohio, a place I hold near and dear to my heart. When living in a place with such unique souls and ambitious spirits, it’s hard not to get caught up in whatever one may be passionate about. For me, that happens to be fashion and retail.
With that being said, by the time you lay eyes on this article I will be taking flight to New York City to clear my mind a little and to gain some inspiration for my upcoming endeavors. Don’t worry friends, I’ll be back at Ohio University before long!
Winter weather has blown into Ohio at full force and is leaving me dreaming of spring weather and Fest Season, which is right around the corner for us Bobcats. On these chilly days, I usually can be found snuggled up in all-black, head to toe, with a hot mocha and a Lemony Snicket book in hand.
For my Style Guru Bio, I chose an outfit that best reflects my personal style to give you an idea of what I will be bringing to CollegeFashionista this semester. I feel as though I’ve been searching my whole life for the perfect camouflage jacket. After 19 years I think I finally found one that lets me fully release my inner Kanye West vibes. To make this look my own, I added my all-time favorite black jeans, my go-to burgundy tote bag, and some little suede booties.
