Oh well hello there, fellow Fashionista! Or should I say, hello there, winter days. It is that time of the year again where outfits become comfy and cozy and layers become everything. My favorite season to dress for is winter because, as Lorelai Gilmore says, “Everything’s magical when it snows. Everything looks pretty. The clothes are great. Coats, scarves, gloves, hats.” The winter season is the perfect time to play with different textures and materials.
I started off with a Ralph Lauren Polo button-down underneath a cowl neck gray sweater from Forever 21. I was inspired by Gigi Hadid in this part of the outfit. On the bottom, I decided to opt for a warmer and a trendier option than leggings. I decided to wear my pair of Ralph Lauren jeans. For shoes, I decided to wear my trusty pair of black Chelsea boots from American Eagle. Over top of this outfit to keep extra warm I paired the outfit with a cashmere thrift coat. For accessories, I wore a black velvet choker necklace and my tortoise watch.
Gray is one of my favorite colors for winter. In ranging shades, gray is such a comfy and cozy color to me. Different shades of gray can be used together to add depth and different layers to a look. When in doubt during the winter, mix different shades and layer, layer, layer!
This outfit is perfect for a chilly day of exploring. I wore it during a day in New York City. I added a few different touches, though. For an extra touch, I added a statement choker that complemented the silver bracelets I added. I added another texture to the outfit with a gray cable knit beanie hat with a fur pompom.
