Hi there! My name is Brittany Thorburn, and I am a sophomore at Christopher Newport University located in Newport News, Virginia. This is my third semester as a Style Guru, and I am so excited to be back sharing stylish tips and cute outfits on campus!
For this semester, I am hoping to share a lot of new trends with my college community as well as spread the word about CollegeFashionista to my friends. I think CollegeFashionista is a great place to get inspiration, new ideas, and see how different fashion is at colleges all over the country!
To get to know me a little better, I am currently studying Business Marketing with a minor in Digital Humanities. I am also a seasonal salesperson at Nordstrom, and a marketing manager with our school’s newspaper. When I’m not writing about fashion or studying, I am usually hanging out with friends, going to the gym, or playing with my new puppy!
I am thrilled to be back again writing, sharing my style, and sharing the style of my college. To describe my personal style, I tend to lean towards a classic look, but with a few girly and trendy touches. For details on my outfit seen here, I am wearing a lace top that adds a little bit of a girly touch. I paired the top with black skinny jeans and black boots with detail on the toe.
