Hello everyone! Adeline here; I am a fashion design student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising San Francisco, and I am excited to start a new chapter in my life with CollegeFashionista! My 10-year-old self-obsessed with Stardoll, the best dress-up game, would never believe the opportunity I have been given through CollegeFashionista, and my goal is to make the best experience out of this! I love that I get the chance to be part of a blogger platform just like some of my favorite fashion bloggers such as The Blonde Salad, Sincerely Jules, and A Beautiful Mess. I am incredibly ready to do my best.
My style varies from trend to trend, but what never changes about me is the colorful and quirky element. I love experimenting with various textures, color tones, and shapes. For this outfit, the focal point of my outfit is my faux fur vest because it is trendy and incredibly warm for those days when the weather is confusingly windy and warm at the same time. A beautiful detail on this faux fur vest are the silver beads lining the edge of the coat; could this vest get any more fabulous?
I decided to pair the vest with an open-shoulder shirt to give the outfit more dimension, and I finished it off with a simple black circle skirt that is a staple in my closet. I scored these maroon/red brick suede booties on sale at DSW, and they are the comfiest ankle boots I have ever owned. Unfortunately, I will not be able to wear them too often in this sudden California rainy weather or else the suede material will be ruined. Like any of my outfits, I could not leave out my favorite element: a statement necklace. This necklace in particular just screams out boho-chic to me. The vertical, sunburst, gold hardware is my favorite element of this necklace.
