Hello Fashionistas, my name is Kierra Rogers and I am so excited to be returning as a Style Guru for my third semester for the CollegeFashionista Team. It’s unreal how much I have learned about myself and my skill set from being an intern for CollegeFashionista. I am currently a senior attending the University of Iowa. I am a communications major receiving a certificate in entrepreneurial studies and career leadership. Sadly, this will be my last semester as a Style Guru intern but I am so grateful for the learning experiences and opportunities this internship has brought me.
Fashion has always been my biggest passion but it wasn’t until I joined this internship that I began to realize how much I loved writing about fashion. Writing hasn’t always been a strength of mine, but since joining the CF team and communicating amongst the editors I have grown so much more confidence in my writing and ability to produce quality articles. Being a Style Guru has allowed me to collaborate and meet a network of new friends and connections, not only on campus but amongst other Style Guru interns. I have also learned  a variety of tools for professionalism and how to identify and express knowledge of different brands, trends, and fashion tips and styles for Fashionista/os.
In this outfit, I wanted to express how simple and casual my style is. I am very fond of using basics to create some of the most stylish looks and pieces. For this outfit, I have paired a basic camisole from Forever21Â with a pair of printed pants from H&M and strappy sandals. Of course I couldn’t leave behind my sun hat or sunnies. It’s the perfect look for packing for a vacation this winter break.
I am excited to continue to share fashion on my campus and provide some RAD looks for my readers. I aim to make this semester the best one out of all of the semesters I have interned for CF. Get ready for a stylish and rad semester full of fun and interesting topics from your fellow Style Guru!
