With the weather getting colder and willpower to get outside and go to class is close to none, we have to dress accordingly in order to survive the cold here on the East Coast. Dressing warm, cozy, and comfortable out on campus with this weather is hard to do! But, this Fashionista kept cool, cozy and comfortable while walking through campus on a brisk day.
She kept her outfit pretty simple but dressed it up by adding statement pieces. Like I said, the weather over here on the East Coast has gotten pretty cold. This Fashionista didn’t seem to mind it! She paired simple black skinny jeans with a soft and cozy turtleneck that is just a bit oversized around the neck. This sweater is not only a statement piece but it is keeping her nice and cozy while walking through campus in this cold weather that we are experiencing. With the turtleneck being her main piece she chose to keep it pretty simple with the rest of her outfit only adding a little pop of color elsewhere.
One of the statement pieces she added to this outfit, that didn’t take away with how cozy she looked in that turtleneck, was her purse! By adding that simple pop of color with her velvet purse it really spices the outfit up. With her outfit being fairly simple, adding the pop of color brings the outfit together while not taking away from anything else! She also paired a simple black bootie that gives her a little height and edge to the outfit that she is wearing. She chose to tie her outfit together by adding tortoise sunglasses to keep that bright sun out of her eyes.
Keeping it cozy throughout campus while trying to take on that cold winter weather is pretty hard to do, but as long as you dress appropriately you can pull it off and keep it looking great too! Even if you’re more of a leggings type of person, you can pair an oversized sweater or turtleneck with just about any outfit! If you want to dress it down all you have to do is wear a flat shoe, but if you prefer to dress it up then adding a heeled bootie is the way to go. Make sure that you are adding a statement piece such as a purse or a piece of jewelry to complete your look! Whether you want this look to go from day to night, you can always dress it up or down. this outfit can do it all.
