Winter is in full swing with snowstorms and frigid temperatures. This means most of us are bundled up in about 10 layers if we have to brave the cold. When I have to brave the winter weather to walk to class I typically resemble the Michelin Man. The cold temperatures keep most of us inside huddled under a couple of blankets with hot chocolate.
Staying warm does not mean you have to sacrifice your style. This Fashionista has her winter weather wardrobe perfected! She paired a chunky knit maroon sweater with some Victoria’s Secret Pink fleece leggings. Her favorite part of the outfit is her bag. A tan, suede cross-body purse from Michael Kors. The bag has fringe on both sides. This bag combines two of the year’s biggest trends, fringe and suede. She finishes the look with a pair of brown leather booties and a knit infinity scarf. This is a perfect look for a day out with the girls or for a long day of classes.
Makeup is a huge part of this Fashionista’s daily look. Urban Decay’s Naked2 palette and the Ultimate Basics palette were used for the eyeshadow in this look. To keep her brows looking flawless, she used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, a personal favorite of mine. She matched her lipstick to the color of her sweater, tying the look together perfectly.
Staying cozy and cute in the winter can be easy as pie. Throw on a sweater with some leggings and get ready to conquer the cold.
