Hello hello! My name is Alexandria Lee and I’m so excited to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this semester. Just so you have all the boring details—I’m a fourth year biology major at UCLA and I am thrilled to continue exploring the creative world from the perspective of the fashion and publishing industries. Although my professional goals kind of deviate from these industries, fashion and all things creative are where my passions lie. I cannot wait to share all my fashion-related adventures with all of you!
In terms of my personal style, you’ll normally catch me in all-black or all-white or all-neutrals—there’s really no in between. I love fun fabrics, unexpected fits, neutrals and dainty gold jewelry. Shopping is one of my favorite destressors, aside from brunching and scoping out new coffee places. And since college is stressful, shopping has become a pretty frequent occurrence.
Speaking of coffee, this outfit is one of my favorites for coffee dates with friends! Since I’m notorious for wearing all-black all the time, this metallic T-shirt from Topshop is the perfect way to break up my monochromatic outfit. It took me the longest time to find a basic black belt with a gold buckle, so thank you Urban Outfitters! Moving on to my jeans, these black boyfriend jeans are from ASOS and they’re probably the comfiest pair of jeans I own. Lastly, my shoes are from Steve Madden and are just comfortable enough for walking down the street to pick up my much needed latte.
