Editorialist is looking for eager Spring interns that will be ready to begin an internship experience at the beginning of January. As part of an exciting start-up, this internship will provide a great deal of hands on experience while working closely with the founders of the business, the editorial, ecommerce and design teams. This candidate should have a strong work ethic and a great attention to detail. Interns will be exposed to different areas of the magazine and ecommerce site.
Responsibilities:
- Assist editors and assistants on day-to-day tasks
- Trend research
- Sample and order trafficking
- Drafting requests
- Checking inventory
- Assisting with social media
- Assisting in contact updates and scheduling
- Assisting with new inventory uploads
- Preparation for photo shoots
- Organizing/filing
- Brainstorming ideas for What’s New[s] section
- Assist with personal styling clients/concierge services
Requirements:
- Available for three FULL days a week at minimum
- An interest in fashion is preferred
- Must have their own laptop for in office use
- Must be able to receive school credit
