Welcome to Chenelle’s Vision, where the deservings are appreciated, the shy’s are notice, the minorities are the majority and lastly where the sky is no longer the limit.”
Style defines you more than you may know. It cultivates an aura and a sense of presence when you enter a room. It demands attention, and it speaks volumes before you utter a word. It is you and you are it! What do you want to represent, or shall I ask what do you envision when you think of yourself? It can be simplistic, it can be complex, whatever style you have – It is you, so embrace it.
Fashion has guided and influenced society for centuries! It has molded careers and has opened up an abundance of great opportunities in a whole new world. Great style is praised, is respected, and gives people power they did not know they actually possessed—and for that simple reason my love for it continues to grow, day by day, season by season.
I am not your typical “Fashionista” so I appreciate the term Style Guru. Let’s take a look at both words: Style is the manner of doing something and a Guru is a spiritual or influential teacher. Overall, style is more than just how you dress and what brand you wear; it is all in your body language, in your personal aura, and in your confidence. So, as a Guru, it is my obligation to inspire my peers and those I encounter daily with my overall style. Remember you must inspire to be inspired.
Greetings everyone! I am Chenelle King, and yes, you read correctly, I am a King amongst all you fashion driven kings and queens. I am a 23-year-old aspiring stylist born and raised in Bronx, New York, and it is my pleasure to be able to showcase my passion, my talent, and my vision with all of you! Throughout my very short career, I have been blessed to work on many amazing and also life changing projects. I have assisted with various editorial stylists who have given me the opportunity to work with plenty of different photographers for several different magazines, one being Vanity Fair.
I am a simple yet diverse Fashionista who believes it is better to have everlasting pieces than conforming to a trend that will not be in style the following year or years to come.I decided to go with the modern street wear look you often see in 2017. Here I am wearing a pair of G-star 5620 Wax Denim pants from their F/W 15 collection, with a Graphic Plaid Flannel that reminds me of my years in high school. I complimented my urban look with my favorite boots from See by Chloe’s F/W 14 collection since they always seem to spruce up my outfit with its leather and suede uppers. Accessories can sometimes make or break your outfit because too many accessories can seem overbearing, so I decorated one hand with several rings and let those do the trick.
