I don’t know about you, but I’m absolutely obsessed with the bomber jacket trend. I’m so glad that it will continue into 2017 because I’m not ready to part ways with it. They seem to go with everything, and I continue to find more and more bomber jackets that I fall in love with instantly. Bomber jackets are like their own accessory in themselves, and anything that makes getting ready in the morning easier is a must-have item.
Naturally, when I came across this Fashionisto on campus, I spotted the bomber jacket. What really caught my eye about this Fashionisto was not only his bomber jacket, in my favorite color, but the details on the jacket as well. Something that’s really cool about this jacket is the lining inside, it’s lined with a fluorescent orange color that will catch anybody’s eye from a mile away. The jacket also includes zipper details on the sleeves for added hardware. I’ve always been a fan of exposed zippers in non-conventional places because while it may not be the most usual thing, its use translates into making a statement.
This Fashionisto was also sporting some patterned socks with his Sperry Top-Siders. Socks are a great way to bring an added detail as well as show off your style for the day. Lastly, I noticed his studded earrings, which are a great men’s accessory. Earrings aren’t just for girls, they can add a touch of masculinity and style to a man’s look too. The great thing about this outfit overall is that although it’s simple, it’s just as noticeable and fashionable as the next Fashionista’s or Fashionisto’s.
Sometimes it can be difficult to be super fashionable when it comes to menswear because there aren’t nearly as many options as there are in women’s wear, but bomber jackets provide warmth and just the right amount of style. For those of you who don’t particularly like to try too hard on an outfit, a bomber jacket is the perfect solution. Next time you’re having trouble deciding what to wear, try a bomber jacket with some detailing to make a statement.
