European street style is incredible. I have yet to see someone out and look like they just rolled out of bed and should probably get back in (like I do most of the time going to class). Street style here in Italy is much different than street style in the states. The athleisure wear movement has not been adopted here yet, making Italian college campus fashion look incredibly chic in comparison. The best part of Italian fashion is that it always looks so effortless just like this Fashionista does with her ootd.
The style here is mixed, there is the chic look which is a pair of leather shorts, tights, and a fur jacket or a midi dress with booties and a beanie; and then there is the boho inspired relaxed look which could be a long textured skirt with a print top and a jean jacket. My favorite thing to do is sit at a cafe outside in one of the many piazzas and style watch; kind of like people watch but really only looking at what they’re wearing.
This Fashionista killed it with her boho-inspired vibe. Her printed wrap dress is the epitome of effortless beauty, paired with her insanely amazing necklace (that I am completely obsessed with), giving good contrast with the feminity of the dress and the hardness of the metal. Her jean jacket helps bring in another texture that also adds a laid back vibe. The mix of patterns and materials is one of my favorite aspects of this look.
