STYLE GURU STYLE: Suiting Up For Spring

If thereโ€™s one thing you should know about me, itโ€™s that Iโ€™m always late. Late to class, late to the party and definitely late on following trends. But hey, we all have our flaws and just because I was late to the bodysuit scene doesnโ€™t mean I canโ€™t thrive in them now!

With spring being just around the corner, nothing makes me happier than being able to finally shed off some layers and wear outfits that donโ€™t consist of hoodies and parka coats. This bodysuit is one of my favorites because of the floral detailing across the front. It completely transforms the plain mesh suit and gives it so much character.

A fun way to really make an outfit your own is to always incorporate a handmade piece into your look. Whether itโ€™s by wearing an old T-shirt that you revamped, or a pair of jeans that you distressed, like mine it makes the outfit that much more meaningful! Another way I like to add a little bit of myself into my outfits is by including a bandana somewhere in the look. Itโ€™s such a simple accessory to tie into your outfits (no pun intended) that really goes a long way! Recently Iโ€™ve been going strong with adding this white one to outfits that are darker for a little pop of color.

For shoes, my go-to pair have been my open toe heel booties. No matter how many new styles come out, I just canโ€™t seem to stray away from these bad boys. Lastly, with the tying in of the shoes, purse and jacket, you can clearly tell Iโ€™m a little head over heels for the black leather look. Thankfully, thatโ€™s one trend Iโ€™ll never be late to!
