I don’t know about you guys, but for me it’s getting to the point in the semester where I feel like all I can think about is how May cannot get here fast enough because this girl is ready for some warmer weather! If you are like me, you just have to tell yourself ,”You can do it! You got this.”
When I saw this Fashionista the temperature was around mid to lower 60s , which was perfect for this outfit because it is a great transition look. Going from winter to spring can be hard because the weather acts up so much, so picking out the perfect transition outfit is key.
For this look, this Fashionista decided to add specific details to make her outfit rock for a day out and about. Adding a jean jacket to any outfit is vital for all seasons but especially for the transition to spring. I would recommend the Levi’s denim jacket every single time because it is timeless. I have had mine for over two years now, and I use it all year around. Under the denim jacket this Fashionista decided to wear this Free People oversize top and added the perfect detail by cuffing the arms so that the pattern from the top is exposed at the wrists. This little dash of detail completely makes this whole outfit go from average to amazing. For bottoms she added some lightweight, black leggings that make the outfit pop with a little bit of shine. Along with the leggings, this Fashionista added to the look with a pair of brown booties that she purchased from Target. Quick piece of advice: if you are looking for inexpensive but nice quality shoes, Target should be your go-to place. Shoes can add tremendous detail to any outfit and can really make or break a look.
Now for accessories which are perfect for adding detail to any outfit. This Fashionista stayed simple on jewelry and added this gold bangle bracelet that she purchased on a trip in San Francisco by a local artist. Dainty jewelry is the easiest way to add detail to your look, and the best part is that is was handmade by a local business. To top off this outfit, she added a black, crossbody purse by Madewell.
