Are you finally on summer break? Do you want to have the greatest summer break? Are you on a budget? If you said yes to any of these, I have the perfect bucket list for you and your friends to finish!
I love the idea of summer bucket lists because most of them are budget-friendly and have ingenious ideas. If you’re ready for a bomb summer break, get ready to check off these 10 ideas from my summer bucket list!
1—Curate the perfect summer playlist. This has to be the first thing you do! Find those nice tunes you know you can jam out to anytime and anywhere.
2—Go visit the beach. Like any other summer, it’s not complete without a relaxing time on the beach. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
3—Read some books. Perfect for relaxing days on the beach or in your room, finish a couple of rom-coms instead of reaching for the TV remote.
4—Take a hike. Gather your troop and get hiking! Lake hikes are perfect for summer because once you get there, you can take a dip into the water. If you’re daring, try a sunrise or sunset hike because those offer the best views.
5—Plan a road trip. The epitome of every summer break is a nice, ol’ road trip with your BFFs. Plan which spots you want to visit; maybe hit the coastline or drive up to Canada. Be sure you already have your summer playlist made so you can blast it in the car!
6—Create some DIYs. Spruce up your room with a few DIYs from YouTube or hop on a fashion trend with your own DIY clothes. Make a succulent pot, jewelry, makeup holders, or distressed denim shorts.
7—Host a BBQ. Hit up your friends, head to the grocery store, and enjoy a beautiful night eating, plus a fun game night! If it’s too hard to cook for so many people, make it a potluck.
8—Go on a late-night dessert run. Find your local sweet shop that’s open at midnight! Have some deep talks while eating a giant chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream.
9—Binge watch the latest Netflix shows. I honestly already do this anyways, but have your friends join you! You can discuss the inner feelings and complexities of Hannah from 13 Reasons Why or Eleven from Stranger Things.
10—Have a bonfire. I have a bonfire pit in my backyard. I love hosting my best friends for a great night making some s’mores with my summer playlist rocking out in the background. Beaches normally have bonfires, but you can always cook them over the stove top!
Hopefully, you got some super fun ideas to try out this summer! Of course, there are way more things to do than just what’s on this list, but this list is just to get your creative juices flowing. Your summer is what you make of it, so make it worthwhile!
