ADEAM is seeking sales and marketing interns for Spring/Summer 2018. The candidate must be able to start late August/early September. The duration of the internship is flexible, but a three-month minimum is preferred. The internship is unpaid, but all work-related transportation will be provided.
Interns will help in all aspects of creating a collection from design to sales to production and PR. Responsibilities can be tailored to an intern’s specific strengths and interests.
Responsibilities:
- ADEAM sales director and showroom manager with daily tasks.
- Organize design samples and fabric swatches.
- Coordinate samples, sample trafficking (Fashion GPS), and monitor inventory.
- Maintain season line sheets and buyer packets.
- Assist during buying appointments for Spring/Summer 2018.
- Research marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain design studio and showroom.
- Assist ADEAM designers and design assistants in all daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Candidates (students or recent graduates) must be able work 2-3 days per week.
- Preferably candidates have studied or majored in a fashion related field.
- Must possess knowledge of the fashion industry in New York.
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with FGPS.
- Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
